I have been a return customer of the Beijing in Prescott and of Kelly's for 14 years and I have never had a bad meal. I was so pleased to discover she has opened in Chino Valley. A friend of mine and I went to tonight and the food was absolutely perfect, wonderful, scrumptious as always. The staff were attentive and eager to serve us and answered any questions we had. Plan on going back as often as possible

Had lunch on 3/24. The staff was very pleasant. 4 in our party, we all agreed that the food was great. Reasonable prices for the portion size. I was glad to find out that it was the same owner as Beijing Garden in Prescott. Their food there is good too.

This place is a joke--they don't even try to use authentic Chinese ingredients. On my 4th and final try I ordered a carryout of Assorted Vegetables with steamed rice for $9.95. The menu says it is to include "Snow peas, bell pepper, broccoli, napa cabbage, zucchini, carrot, mushroom, bamboo shoots, baby corn and water chestnuts in a white garlic sauce". What I received was a PINT of broccoli with a few slices of zucchini, 2 snow peas, 1 baby corn, 1 mushroom, 1 bamboo shoot and no garlic sauce, plus a 1/2 pint of rice. When I called back to complain 1/2 hour later the waitress said the "chef" (ha) did not remember my order and tough luck. I could have prepared a hell of a lot of broccoli and rice for $10 if that was all I wanted. The Asian woman the runs the place is not pleasant either. Eat here at your own risk.

To be honest, if you want to run a place of business you should consider actually serving your customers. I've never had such poor customer service in my life. The staff was hardly sociable, The only time they actually serviced us was to bring us our food Minus to bring us more tea. They never once checked on how we were doing, never refilled our drinks, nor offer anything to drink when she took the order. For the entire time we were at this place, we had to ask for everything, refills on water, boxes to go. Also the portions were lunch portions and the woman who ran the place argued with us that it was dinner portion, which I will add is the smallest dinner portion I have ever seen. The food was mediocre at best, and I'm sorry an egg roll has meat and sprouts in it. This was a spring roll which apparently had pork somewhere in it. I was very disappointed with the just lack of respect for people in general. I will never go back here nor recommend this place to anyone. This place and it's people really need to learn to show respect to others and take care and service their customers. I have been to many Chinese food restaurants which have ten times better service and food. This place needs to go back to the drawing board when it comes to respect.

We were so happy that the Beijing Delight located here in Chino Valley. For years we have eaten at the Prescott location and it was always excellent. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is very good. I love the Wonton soup with lots of vegetables and my husband is a big fan of just about everything else.

So much better than their other Beijing Garden in Prescott. Been told same owner but the food is much better in Chino Valley. I love Hunan food, like it hot and spicy. This place does not let me down. So many chinese restaurants are filthy and this place is clean! The shrimp dishes have large fat shrimp and the food is not greasy or jelly like, like Canton Dragon. Haven't tried the noodles but will next time and post my review.

Disappointed with our last couple of visits to Beijing Delight. $11.95 dinner special spicy orange chicken was okay but needed more chicken & spice. Egg rolls were home made but greasy. Hot & sour soup was strange tasting and I left it half finished. Much better food for less money 6 blocks north at Oriental Express in Chino Valley. B.D. was better a few months ago when they first opened. Just sayin' ---

My husband and I have been to this restaurant about 4 or 5 times and have always been pleased with the staff, food, and service. The food is consistently fresh and well-prepared. The outside of the building looks average, but the inside decor is very updated, appealing and clean. We especially like the egg foo-young. We moved here from the Seattle area and have had a hard time finding good Asian food in this area. Beijing Delight is closest we've found and it is definitely worth a stop.

Should have listened to the reviews tonight but Oriental Express down the street was closed & I had a craving for Chinese. Where do I begin? The chow mein is not chow mein. It's your most basic soggy "low mein". Not pan fried. I had to ask for egg. She said she would ask if they would add it. Nope no egg & no explanation. The Kung Pao cabbage was raw & just plain old American green cabbage with a few peanuts. Paid almost $8.00 for 6 of the chinsiest crab puffs I've ever had, "" 6""!! Not even sure there was cream cheese inside & no hint of crab.. I couldn't even believe almost 8 bucks for 6 pieces of fried dough!! They didn't even give me a full container of white rice & sticky it was not. Minute rice for sure. My tiny little cup of tasteless, watery sweet & sour sauce was only half full too. Seriously? Complete waste of time & money. They simply just don't care about customer satisfaction or return business. Don't be fooled by their frontage. If you value a good chinese takeout go down the street to the simple Oriental Express or drive the few miles to Prescott & enjoy the view. I gave them a star for cleanliness only because I had to.

Everything was delicious and very fresh. All meals were loaded with vegetables and the service was prompt and friendly. The lunch specials are a great deal and include the entree, fried rice, choice of soup and house-made spring roll.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
